One of India’s internationally acclaimed filmmakers and having produced and directed over 10 full-length features like Manjhi – The Mountain Man, Rang Rasiya, Mangal Pandey – The Rising, Maya Memsaab, Holi and Mirch Masala as well as TV serials for almost all the premier broadcasters in India, he is a household name in the entertainment industry in India.

Deepa Sahi

Co-Founder

A film star, director, screenplay writer, producer and a media entrepreneur, Deepa has a substantial portfolio of achievements to her name. A graduate of the Delhi School of Economics as well as of the National School of Drama, she brings a wealth of experience and aesthetics to our projects.

Megha Tata

Chief Executive Officer

Megha Tata is the Chief Executive Officer of Cosmos Maya where she oversees the firm's operation and is leading the animation studio into its next phase of growth. Megha has held leadership roles at organizations such as WB Discovery, BTVI, HBO, Turner International and Star TV. In an illustrious career spanning over 3 decades, Megha has had a consistent record of increasing sales, effective negotiation, profit and loss analysis and strategic implementation of business operations. Ability to overcome obstacles and capture opportunities by closing exclusive deals, create and implement savvy marketing strategies has been her forte. An industry veteran, she leads multiple national as well as international industry forums and is an esteemed member of the National Media and Entertainment Committee of FICCI. Megha has been on the board of IBF (Indian Broadcasting Federation). She served as President of IAA - India Chapter (2020-2022). The second woman to hold that position. Currently she is the Immediate Past President of IAA. She has been bestowed with multiple industry accolades during her career. Megha is recognized amongst the top 50 influential women in media, marketing and advertising and was also conferred ‘Women of the decade in media’ by the Women Economic Forum in 2018.She was also adjudged amongst Asia's Most Inspirational Women in Leadership for 2022 by House of Rose Professional.

Kalyani Rane

Chief Financial Officer

Ms Kalyani Rane, the dynamic CFO, has close to 20 years of experience across diverse industries including Food & Beverage and Retail. Her credentials include professional degrees including Cost & Works Accountants and a Management degree with a specialisation in Finance. A result-oriented and decisive leader, she is also a persuasive communicator with a knack for success.

Adi Shayan

Chief Operating Officer – International Business

Adi Shayan is the Chief Operating Officer for International Business at Cosmos-Maya. A versatile leader with 23 years of deep experience in the CG/Animation/ VFX industry. He has built businesses, and world-class teams ground up, and effectively led them to drive very successful business results. He is very actively involved in developing the industry ecosystem like drafting the AVGC Policy 2.0 for the Government of Karnataka and curating the world- class GAFX conference 2017. He has worked with companies such as Zebu Animation Studios as CEO, Xentrix Studios as COO, DreamWorks Animation India Unit and Tata Elxsi including a 4-year stint in the US. He enjoys a nice long run when schedules permit.

Dheeraj Berry

Chief Creative Officer

With over a decade long experience across all the aspects of the animation production process including creative development, Dheeraj is one of the most well rounded creative professionals in the animation business in India. Having mastered all the ropes of the production process, he is responsible for company’s first show for the international markets, Eena Meena Deeka and continues to contribute to the creative development across all the new IPs in development.

Ram Dhumne

An alumnus of the Govt. Art & Design College Nagpur, Ram has over twenty years of experience in CGI and VFX. Having worked with world-class animation studios like Pixion TV, Crest Animation, and Maya Digital Studios Ram has played a crucial role in several blockbuster releases. His repertoire includes multiple internationally renowned projects like Motu Patlu, Ramayana The Epic, Sholay 3D, and Pirhana 3D, to name a few.
